Sita Ramam, a romantic historical drama starring Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur, and Rashmika Mandanna, has received overwhelmingly excellent reviews from reviewers and viewers. The plot of the movie is receiving praise, as is the chemistry between Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal, and viewers have dubbed it a classic love story. Even though everything seems flawless, it has now come to light that Pooja Hegde was apparently the initial option for the movie.
Pooja Hegde was reportedly Mrunal Thakur’s initial choice to play Sita in Sita Ramam. Yes, it’s true that Pooja reportedly turned down the opportunity to play Sita in Sita Ramam. Then, the filmmakers cast Mrunal Thakur, a Bollywood actor, in the role of the female lead, which also served as her South debut. Mrunal has received a tonne of acclaim from the public for her stunning debut. Lieutenant Ramam, an army officer, stationed in the valley, will be played by DQ. Mrunal Thakur, who plays Sita Mahalakshmi, the love interest of the Salute star, will be with him. Afreen, a pivotal character in the film, will also be portrayed by Pushpa actress Rashmika Mandanna in addition to these two.
Sita Ramam had a strong trend on Saturday and Sunday and did well at the box office during the weekend. The Dulquer-starring movie made Rs. 17.25 crores in its first weekend of release in India. Hanu Raghavapudi’s film Sita Ramam was created against the backdrop of the conflict in 1965. PS Vinod handled the film’s camera work, which was funded by Ashwini Dutt under the Swapna Cinema label.
