Australian-Scottish parents gave birth to Margot Elise Robbie on July 2, 1990, in Dalby, Queensland. Her father is Doug Robbie, and her mother, Sarie Kessler, works as a physiotherapist. Margot discussed filming the “awkward” sequences with Leo in an interview she gave to Vanity Fair in 2016. “I had performed scenarios where s*x was about to begin or had just ended. But unlike in Wolf Of Wall Street, I hadn’t created a complete s*x scene. That was my very first. Numerous people are keeping an eye on you. It’s really awkward. It’s basically like, This is what you need to do; get on with it. The sooner you do it, the sooner you can quit doing it.”
Margot discussed the challenges of pretending to make out on a large wad of cash in an earlier interview. She claimed that following a scene, her back was “covered in a thousand red scratches.”
“Because of all that money, I have a million paper cuts on my back. Although it sounds glitzy, it’s not… Fake money is like paper,” she said in 2014, “whereas real money can be a little softer.”
In her upcoming movie alongside Ryan Gosling, Margot plays the well-known doll Barbie. His character is Ken, her lover. Los Angeles is the location for the present filming of Greta Gerwig’s Warner Bros. production. In July 2023, Barbie is slated for release.
