Ishaan Khatter is receiving all the adulation and love from fans for his role of Brigadier Balram Mehta, in Pippa. The film is a first-person account of the Battle of Garibpur, a pivotal fight in Bangladesh’s fight for independence during the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala under RSVP Movies and Siddharth Roy Kapur’s Roy KapurFilms, and directed by Raja Krishna Menon, the movie stars Ishaan, Mrunal Thakur, Priyanshu Painyuli, and Soni Razdan in crucial roles. The movie is based on Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta’s book ‘The Burning Chaffees’ and is written by Menon, Tanmay Mohan, and Ravinder Randhawa.
Recently, Ishaan received the biggest validation for the film and his role when he was invited along with the makers and cast of the film to share stage with the respected members of the 45 Cavalry.
