Kay Kay Menon is one of the finest and most remarkable personalities in the Hindi entertainment industry. The actor has been on top of his game with several power-packed performances in the past and no wonder he enjoys a lot of critical acclaim whenever he comes up with a new project. The actor has earlier worked in several successful projects like Baby, Ghazi Attack, Shaurya, Black Friday, Gulaal, Special OPS and many more.
Recently, he was seen in Special OPS 1.5, the sequel of Special OPS where his character of Himmat Singh and his journey received some rave reviews from the audience. During an exclusive conversation with IWMBuzz, when asked about the success and reception, he said,
“Any form of appreciation by the audience is special. As an artist, you literally live for it. It has been the case for me since my theatre days and it’s no different now. ”
Given the kind of experience he has, it’s only natural that he will have a fair understanding of which script to choose and what not to. When asked about how he goes about with that, he concluded by saying,
“My criteria for selecting scripts has always remained the same. Writing and screenplay are very important and with Neeraj being there, it’s a guaranteed thing that the writing will be crisp. Also as a sports enthusiast, you tend to get naturally drawn towards action. For me, action isn’t just about fights and stunts. It’s the whole aesthetic approach that’s associated with the genre which I love.”
