My first vehicle was a third-hand car which I got for around Rs 60k – Kartik Aaryan

From Auto Rikshaws for red carpets to his own McLaren, Kartik Aaryan has come a long way

Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has been one of the biggest history-making releases of the year and the actor is riding high on the success wave, as he also recently announced a new massive film with Kabir Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala. But this fan-made superstar has made his all the way to the top on his own merit and after his own fair share of struggles.

In a recent interview with a leading portal, he opened up about his struggles even after Pyaar Ka Punchnama which proved quite a success. “When I first came to the industry, I didn’t have any car. The first car that I bought was after a couple of film — a third-hand car that I got for around Rs 60,000. I got it with great difficulty. There was a problem with the car door. I took it specifically because I was still taking an auto to the red carpet, or going on a bike, or getting a lift from people. So this car, the door didn’t open. I didn’t know what set-up that was, I couldn’t open it. There was also a leakage when it rained on the driver’s seat, but I got used to it”.

He was recently gifted the first McLaren GT of India by his Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 producer Bhushan Kumar to mark the mega success of their film and it is really fascinating to see his journey from traveling in autos for red carpet events to riding in his own McLaren.

The highly bankable and loved superstar is all set to be seen in Shehzada, Captain India, Freddy, Sajid Nadiadwala’s untitled next by Sameer Vidwans and also the Kabir Khan project.
