Nora Fatehi became Teary-Eyed As She Recalled Her Painful Days As A Struggler In Bollywood, Take A Look

Nora Fatehi's struggling past made her cry.

Nora Fatehi, an actress, has remarked that she came to India with dreams of success, but that her bubble shattered immediately. Nora was raised in Canada’s ‘hoods,’ and after dropping out of university due to poor academics, she chose to pursue her true passion: becoming an entertainer.

In a new interview, Nora reminisced about her early days in India and expressed her sadness at the thought of all the other young entertainers who had given up their goals due to the ‘vicious’ industry.

In an interview on YouTuber Anas Bukhash’s show, she claimed, “We were both ecstatic and naive. It was nothing like this when I arrived in India (what I had imagined). I was thinking that I’d be picked up by a limousine and butler, taken to a suite, and then driven to my auditions in that limo. That was not the case. I was slapped across the face with the biggest smack I’d ever received. Bullying, rejection, and a painful incident were all part of my life.”

Nora claimed that casting directors would call her in for auditions knowing she wasn’t Indian and would give her lines in Hindi, only to laugh at her. “How f****g dare you, wait until I leave,” she thought to herself as they began laughing and high-fiving one other. “Please don’t do it in front of me.” Nora retaliated with a ‘dirty attitude,’ which caused them to retreat.

Nora posted clips from the interview to Instagram, describing it as “one of my most raw, real, and honest interviews ever.” She expressed her gratitude to her admirers for writing to her and stated she has been thrilled by the good comments she has received since the interview went live.
