The Delhi High Court had recently created issues on the release of the movie, ‘Batla House’, which depicts the real incidents that revolved around the Batla House encounter. The court initially stopped the release of the movie on 15th August, which wasn’t good news for the movie. However, the team has come out successful with the Delhi High Court Petition, as the new decision rules that the movie is free to release on 15th but with certain cuts.
After the screening, when John was asked at the press conference whether he is worried about the new cuts, this is what he had to say –
‘I don’t think the cuts will make much of a difference for us. Yes, it might change a little, but won’t make too much of an impact. I am henceforth not worried about the end product.”
Well, Batla House genuinely looks good to be a blockbuster. After all, it’s based on a real story.
