Angelina Jolie first appeared on our fashion radar in 1998 as a vampish goth with a subversive aesthetic, and she hasn’t disappeared since. She still incorporates edgy black and leather into her red carpet wardrobe today, but glamorous, grown-up gowns and cocktail dresses are now a staple of her trademark look. She is a working mother of six and a traveling humanitarian activist.

Jolie deviated from her usual black attire for the London premiere by donning this magnificent Ralph & Russo custom-made chiffon and tulle hand-pleated gown. The dress had sculptured shoulders covered with Swarovski crystal spiders, a floor-length cloak, and a gold caged bodice. Jolie chose glittering silver for the Japan premiere, where she met up with her son Maddox, who is studying in South Korea, and ruled the red carpet in a fringe halter dress by Ralph & Russo.

Angie wore a Saint Laurent one-shoulder draped black midi dress to the 2019 Comic Con, where she was introduced as the newest actor to star in Marvel’s upcoming Eternals movie. In June 2018, the humanitarian wore a grey dress by Ralph & Russo to a ceremony at St. Paul’s Cathedral to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, of which Angelina was appointed an honorary Dame by the Queen.
