Love is in the air and the lovebirds are flying. In a generation that primarily believes in the hook-up culture, two celebrity couples who make us believe in the concept of ‘love’ over and over again are none other than Virat Kohli – Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh – Deepika Padukone.
Both couples have a history of dating for the longest time before eventually deciding to tie the knot. What’s equally amazing is both the couples even got married around the same time in the same year and that certainly brought a wide smile on the faces of their fans. But if there’s anything else that’s common between the two couples, it’s the societal stigma of judgement that they had to go through for various reasons. While Deepika had to bear the brunt of societal judgements for her previous relationships before Ranbir, Anushka too suffered from a lot of criticism every time India would lose a cricket match and she would be blamed for the failure.
