Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon, Reese Witherspoon’s full name, was born on March 22, 1976, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and she is currently 46 years old. An American actress who worked across a variety of genres but was arguably best remembered for her romantic comedies, in which she frequently played endearing yet determined heroines. Before relocating to Nashville, Tennessee, Witherspoon’s family lived in West Germany for a number of years because Witherspoon’s father served in the U.S. Air Force as a doctor. She was a model and had commercial roles when she was younger. She made her debut in a major motion picture in 1991, playing a tomboy in The Man in the Moon. Witherspoon received praise for her portrayal in that critically praised coming-of-age film. Before taking a sabbatical from acting from 1994–1955, she performed in further roles, such as a supporting role in the 1993 television drama Return to Lonesome Dove. She resumed her career and acted in such renowned movies as the dark comedy Freeway (1996), which was based on the Grimm’s fairy tale “Little Red Riding Hood,” Pleasantville (1996), and others (1998) Ryan Phillippe, to whom she was married from 1999 until 2008, costarred in the latter movie with her.
Reese Witherspoon may have previously been referred to be “America’s Sweetheart,” but her sultry red carpet appearances and the film Wild, for which she was nominated for an Academy Award, speak to quite the opposite. We’ve been quite happy with the actress’s recent edgier outfit choices as she has been seen in a number of them. The three dresses she is wearing in the photo include a startlingly pink strapless Stella McCartney dress, a glittering Calvin Klein column, and a two-tone Lanvin dress with a train.
