KGF superstar Yash has frankly opened up on doing remakes. The star got to pan-Indian fame with the release of KGF. The actor with his rough and tough bearded look, ripped body and eye-catching action scenes on the screen, has managed to garner love and views from all across the country.
Talking to Bollywood Hungama, Yash replied to a fan’s question who asked him if he would likely make a remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s movie, which one will it be, to this, Yash replied, “Remake pasand nahi hai personally (I don’t like remake personally) and with Mr Bachchan, it’s better to not touch that. They are classics. Jo unka kaam hai (whatever his work is, I don’t think I would do anything).”
To this, the interviewer further asked if the film KGF is a bit inspired by Big B’s characters, to this Yash said, “It’s the essence of the belief system, the hero and his heroism- that kind of film. It has nothing to do with any film but in general, the kind of films they used to make, the essence is the same, what whole of India wants to see. At least, whoever I meet, they say they love those kinds of films.” As quoted by Hindustan Times.
Directed by Prashanth Neel, the KGF saga has truly made hurls all across the nation, given Yash’s stunning and swagger performances on the screen. The movie has already broken all the records, with its collection at the box office.
