Before the release of Baahubali, Prabhas didn’t commit to a single other project and given the dicey nature of the industry when a film can get shelved any moment, it was quite a brave call from Prabhas. Not just that, he also added that after Bahubali, he will never invest 5 years in just one project. But why did he do so?
Well, earlier in a TV interview with NDTV Good Times, Prabhas was quoted as saying,
“Actors have limited time. We also have a shelf life. I think I can’t give five years to one project now. Even if I ever give that much time, I will simultaneously keep doing other projects because age is also a factor. It will not be good for my career.”
He further added,
“I invested 5 years for Baahubali because the two-part fantasy drama was a ‘once in a lifetime’ experience and it was worth it.”
