While the entire nation went into lockdown owing to the coronavirus pandemic, a lot of television and Bollywood celebrities surprised us by announcing their wedding this year. The celebrations were kept low-key.

From Rana Daggubati, Kajal Aggarwal to Gauahar Khan, Shaheer Sheikh, here’s a list of celebs who began a new phase of life in 2020.

Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar

Gauahar Khan tied the knot with Zaid Darbar in an intimate ceremony on December 25. The couple hosted a wedding reception for their close friends and family members in the evening in Mumbai.

Kamya Panjabi and Shalabh Dang

Television actor Kamya Panjabi tied the knot with businessman Shalabh Dang on February 10. They adopted for a grand reception which was attended by many of her colleagues. The friends included TV stars Kavita Kaushik, Rubina Dilaik, Vindu Dara Singh, Sambhavna Seth, Manini Mishra and Aman Verma.

Kajal Aggarwal And Gautam Kitchlu

Kajal Aggarwal, known for her turn in films like Special 26 and Singham got married to entrepreneur-boyfriend Gautam Kitchlu on October 30 in an intimate ceremony at a Mumbai hotel.

Miheeka Bajaj And Rana Daggubati

Baahubali fame Rana Daggubati tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Miheeka Bajaj on August 8. It was a traditional Andhra-style Hindu wedding ceremony at the Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad amidst tight security.

Television actor Niti Taylor and Parikshit Bawa got married in Gurugram on August 13. Their prolonged households and pals joined within the celebrations nearly.

Poonam Pandey and Sam Bombay

After being in a live-in relationship for 2 years, model-turned-actor Poonam Pandey married director Sam Bombay in a personal ceremony at their house in Mumbai on September 1. Later that month, he was arrested after she filed a grievance towards him for allegedly assaulting her. However, she reconciled with him only a week later.

Earlier this year, Puja Banerjee and Kunal Verma announced their wedding. The two shared that they canceled the wedding due to the pandemic and donated the money they had kept aside for their wedding to charity. They went for a registered marriage instead. Shaheer Sheikh And Ruchikaa Kapoor

Aditya Narayan tied the knot with Shweta Agarwal on December 1. The couple met on the sets of the 2010 film Shaapit. The wedding on December 1 was at a small temple with just 50 guests in attendance, followed by a reception.

Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma

Team India leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal on December 22 tied the knot with choreographer Dhanashree Verma. While Dhanashree looked gorgeous in a maroon lehenga, Yuzvendra looked suave in an ivory sherwani with a maroon turban.
