When IWMBuzz asked her exclusively regarding how she would sum up her 2020, Urvashi was quoted as saying,
“2020 for me was extremely satisfying personally. My movie Virgin Bhanupriya did exceptionally well and people really appreciated my character of Bhanupriya in this female-centric movie. It also marked by digital debut in a truly special way and just after that, I signed Black Rose which is going to release soon. Though the year was very difficult for everyone personally, professionally I have nothing to complain about as I was shooting throughout the entire pandemic period. Also, my song ‘Ek Diamond Da Haar’ crossed a whopping 100M views and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Currently, there are many interesting announcements that are all set to happen soon and I am truly blessed to have had such a working 2020 when difficulty was at its peak. The year kept me busy and even now I am shooting for something really special. So overall, 2020 has been very satisfying for me.”
When asked further as to what she’s expecting from 2021, she added,
“Well, firstly I would like everyone to not have too many expectations from 2021. Expectations can sometimes work in the other way. I would rather request everyone to go with the flow and have a positive mindset. I am also looking forward to some amazing collaborations to entertain my fans to continue getting all the love and affection that I have been getting. I will be cautious and have a slow and steady approach in 2021”.
