Rhea Chakraborty was the ex-girlfriend of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput who passed away on 14th June, 2020. While initially, it came as a suicide, multiple rounds of investigations suggested that there’s more to it and it is in all probabilities not a case of regular suicide. Rhea became a household name ever since Sushant’s father KK Singh lodged an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty on charges of abetment to suicide.
Since then, the case has been investigated. The investigations first started with Mumbai Police and Bihar Police and after the Supreme Court’s landmark judgement today, it is all crystal clear that the case will now be investigated by the CBI.
Not that just, Rhea Chakraborty who starred in Jalebi has also been summoned on multiple occasions by the Enforcement Directorate on charges of money laundering.
