Actress Rima Ramanuj who debuted on television with Sony TV’s Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaagey as Eijaz Khan’s sister is happy and elated, now she has entered into world of silver screen with her new Gujarati film Dramebaaj. Produced by Foadil Pictures, film is directed by Gunveen Kaur and Robin Sikarwar.

The film has Rima Ramanuj, Adesh Singh Tomar and Gopal Hari playing lead roles along with senior theatre artists Chetan Dahiya and Gaurang Anand.

Says Rima, “I have always inclined towards picking up comedy roles. Dramebaaj is a situational comedy plot and depicts the life of a guy with multiple personality disorder. So playing a key role in this project gave me a great experience.”

Talking about her character, Rima states, “My character name is Anushka. She is a theatre artist who runs the theatre of her father. She is graceful and subtle in her behaviour and approach. She is the one who goes on to help the guy to get over his disorder and also supports him to grow in life. There is a romantic angle too.”

Dramebaaj released on 3 December 2021 and its songs trending on various social platforms.

On future aspirations, Rima states, “This movie was a huge learning curve for me as an actor. I learned a lot of nuances that are needed to fine-tune an actor. I am looking for challenging roles, and I am open to all kinds of mediums, whether it is TV, web or films.”

Best of luck, Rima!!
