Kolkata, West Bengal – The city’s annual Durga Puja celebrations reached new heights as renowned actress Rituparna Sengupta took to the stage, enthralling audiences with her captivating dance performance. The event on Red Road showcased 89 award-winning puja pandals and featured various cultural presentations.
Rituparna’s dance act, set to the tune of ‘Amar Aarale Amar Abdale Anjali Loho Pole Polle,’ left the crowd spellbound. Her elegance was accentuated by a stunning yellow saree, purple blouse, and intricate jewelry, with her hair beautifully tied in a garland of jasmine flowers.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee joined in on the festivities, dancing on stage and holding hands with other performers. The event brought together prominent Bengali celebrities, including MP actress June Malia, Rachana Banerjee, Sayani Ghosh, former MP Nusrat Jahan, actor and MLA Soham Chakraborty, and others.
Rituparna’s performance was part of the Kolkata Police’s Bodyguard Line Pujo Committee’s presentation. She had also performed at Asansol’s puja carnival alongside Minister Malay Ghatak, MP Shatrughan Sinha, Mayor Bidhan Upadhyay, and other dignitaries. Fifteen idols participated in this carnival, and the video has gone viral on social media platforms.
