R Madhavan’s directorial debut, ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ depicts the true story of a bright and resourceful rocket scientist who, at the height of his career, was charged with a phoney espionage case. The film was released this week and is receiving a mixed response from the audience. We can see R Madhavan, Misha Ghosal and Ravi Raghavendra among others in the cast. Also, there are cameos by Shah Rukh Khan and South star Suriya.
In a recent photo that has come, we can see the writer-producer-director-actor of the film, R Madhavan with the original hero Nambi Narayanan. Maddy, who is dressed like the latter, looks exactly like a photocopy of the NASA genius. Seen with them are Ayan Mukherjee, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and Karan Johar. This snapshot was taken when Mr Narayanan had come for a cameo shoot. All of them look so full of energy in the picture.
Meanwhile, as his first film as a director, Madhavan’s experience has not quite been a good one. He revealed that he will not be directing any more movies anytime soon in the future. Even the movie reviews say that Madhavan as an actor has done a wonderful job, but as a director, he still needs polishing.
