The family of 20-year-old Anjali Singh, who was injured in a hit-and-run accident in Delhi, has received assistance from actor Shah Rukh Khan‘s non-profit organization, Meer Foundation. Her family received an anonymous donation from Meer Foundation, a source told Hindustan Times. On the eve of the New Year, Anjali was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Kanjhawala, Delhi.
According to ANI, the family, which included her mother and siblings, was supported only by Anjali. The Meer Foundation wants to assist the family, particularly the mother, with her health challenges while giving her siblings enough relief.
After a car struck Anjali’s scooter in the untimely hours of the New Year, she was reportedly dragged under the car for more than 12 kilometers on the city’s highways before being killed.
