Shantanu Maheshwari, a dancer-turned-actor who rose to fame on the small screen and became a teen idol, was introduced as Gangubai’s love interest in the song. Shantanu Maheshwari’s career on channel V began with the show Dil Dosti Dance. As the protagonist, he gave a standout performance. Following that, the actor competed in Khatron Ke Khiladi and won. The 30-year-old actor is also an accomplished hip-hop dancer who has also studied Bollywood, folk, and street dance. Shantanu Maheshwari and Alia Bhatt are seen in the video looking at each other while sensuously playing cards with each other. As the video progressed, the two were seen on a carriage ride. The beautiful song is sung by melody queen Shreya Ghoshal.
