Jisoo, of BLACKPINK, sparked a frenzy among fans when she unveiled her gorgeous new profile images. The singer, who is scheduled to star in her first K-Drama, ‘Snowdrop,’ shared three photos from her session on her official account.
Interestingly, the identical image was uploaded on the official account of YG Entertainment’s acting subsidiary, YG Stage, giving fans and BLINKS optimism that Jisoo’s show may be released sooner than we thought.
Fans and fellow BLACKPINK teammates Jennie, Lisa, and Rose have backed Jisoo in her desire to pursue a career in acting. Jisoo appears to have her eyes set on the big screen as the other three band members focus on their solo music projects.
On their YouTube account, YG Stage also published a video of the female actress dancing for the cameras and having a good time while doing so. Jisoo’s fans flocked to Twitter to voice their delight at the prospect of seeing him excel in the next drama. Many people have guessed that her show’s premiere date is approaching, based on the amount of talk it has been creating.
The film ‘Snowdrop’ was recently slammed for allegedly misrepresenting the country’s history. However, it was just a miscommunication created by an inadequate narrative element released on the film house’s Twitter account.
“Snowdrop is neither a play that disparages the anti-movement or sensationalizes being a spy or working for the NSP,” the crew said afterward.
They also urged people to “refrain from speculating about a drama that has yet to be revealed.”
