Aishwarya Rai is one of the classic examples of how a woman can achieve big in life with her hard work, dedication, and passion. After her Miss World conquest in the year 1994, there was no looking back for Aishwarya and big movie offers, one after the other started coming her way. From Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam to Guru, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Jodhaa Akbar, and many more, Aishwarya has proven her credentials as a successful actress on many occasions in the past.

But hey folks, did you know that there was a time when comedian Russell Peters openly criticized Aishwarya and called her a bad actor in public? Well, as per reports in Koimoi, during a promotional event in India, Russel was quoted saying,

“I hate Bollywood. The movies are all garbage, just terrible. It’s my opinion, obviously, there are billions who like and love them. I don’t like all the singing, dancing and all the dramatic crying. I have never seen a Bollywood film in my life. I have refused to do it earlier and will do so in the future. But I hope some filmmakers take a chance of making real movies. Aishwarya is the biggest example of bad acting. She has proved it time and time again that in Bollywood, people can become superstars just by having a pretty face.”
