Sushmita Sen, who won the crown of Miss Universe 1994 has got some unknown fact in her kitty. The actress who applied for Miss India 1994, almost withdrew her application from the competition after getting alarmed by the fact that Aishwarya Rai is also participating in it.
However, it was her mother who convinced her and encouraged her to participate in the contest. It is also reported that 25 other women also withdrew their application from the competition, and Sen following the same footsteps too were about to do the same, but fortunately her mother propelled her to participate.
And not only, Sushmita Sen actually beat the world’s most beautiful woman, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan that year, but also won the crown of Miss Universe, making the country proud!
