Saying that her co-star Sonam Kapoor from the film Veere Di Wedding once reacted to the same calling it sad and ignorant. However, Sonam didn’t mention any name in the context, but it clearly hinted at it.
She said, “When women say that they are not a feminist, it is very sad and ignorant.” she further added, “Feminism just means equal opportunity and equality to have the same privileges and choices as a man would have and I don’t think there is anything wrong with that.” as quoted by Koi Moi.
