Janhvi Kapoor is one of the most amazing and gorgeous young divas of the Hindi film fraternity and this damsel has been shining right from her very first movie. Janhvi made her debut in 2018 with Dhadak alongside Ishaan Khatter and continued all the good work with movies like Gunjan Saxena and Roohi.
Currently, she’s receiving all the love and critical acclaim of her performance in Roohi alongside Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma and given the Covid-19 situation in mind, the movie is certainly doing decent business at the box office.
When Janhvi was exclusively asked by IWMBuzz about why she chose a horror-comedy movie and why she found the role appealing, she was quoted as saying,
“Well, I haven’t done anything like this in the past and hence that was definitely an intriguing factor for me choosing this project. At the same time, I strongly feel that Stree played a big role in making the horror-comedy genre popular in India. Raj was phenomenal in it and I wanted to experience this myself. This is one genre which looks to have an exciting prospect and I am definitely looking forward to doing more of these.”
