The actress is right now enjoying a spree of successful movies in the box office and her next venture is none other than Shabaash Mithu where she essays the role of Mithali Raj. While her next is Shabaash Mithu, there’s a lot of buzz about ‘Dunki’ which is also her first-ever film with Shah Rukh Khan. So, what does the actress have to say about working with King Khan? How did Taapsee earn the project? As per reports in The Indian Express, she was quoted as saying,
“I feel so happy that this has happened purely on the basis of credentials and talent. Nobody picked up the phone for a recommendation. I got the film only because someone liked I what did.
She further added and we quote,
“I have to pinch myself every day to believe that this is happening. I have grown up watching his (Shah Rukh’s) films. For me, Shah Rukh Khan is the introduction to Hindi films. So just standing next to him in a frame is surreal. I just hope I don’t mess it up.”
