Ayushmann Khurrana has been a firm advocate of his wife, author Tahira Kashyap, who triumphed against breast cancer after a protracted struggle. When he performed on her radio program, My Ex-Breast, and dubbed her his “victorious queen,” the performer couldn’t disguise his sentiments.

“Even though we were in this battle around each other, I was really energized by you, and I saw that you’re now even bigger and more powerful than me, and this conversion was a supernatural event and it came at the right time, and it ended up giving you the courage to survive whatever head-on, but now you’re my triumphant queen, having to stand across from me,” Ayushmann said in the episode Yes Sir, It’s Cancer, which details the events surrounding Tahira’s cancer diagnosis.

She continues, “I’m confessing to you, the only reason I bought though was because of how calm and helpful you were throughout the entire process.”

Tahira Kashyap’s strength grew even greater throughout her cancer struggle, according to Ayushmann Khurrana.

Ayushmann spoke about the roller-coaster of emotions and hardships they had throughout the healing process, as they relied on one other continuously. He also stated how, since infancy, he has always been a strong guy, while his wife Tahira has always been quite fragile. He praised her emotional fortitude and desire to combat breast cancer not just for herself but also for him and their two children, Virajveer and Varushka. The podcast will be available on the Audible Suno app.

Ayushmann was promoting Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, his 2020 flick. In the film, he portrays a gay man who will be romancing Jitendra Sharma. “I’m what I am because of my family,” Ayushmann told IANS in an interview on his family’s reaction to his portrayal of a homosexual guy. “They have always been a huge support system for me and have always allowed me to make the most important life decisions. They stood behind me like a rock when I decided to pursue a career in show business.”
