Anushka Shetty remembers working on one of her most successful Telugu films, filmmaker Kodi Ramakrishna’s ‘Arundhati,’ and says the film will always be close to her heart. On Sunday, the film, which went on to become a big hit, celebrated its 13th anniversary.
Anushka Shetty, whose reputation soared after her outstanding performance in the scary supernatural thriller, took to Instagram to voice her views about the film’s history of dealing.
She said “Arundhati has been alive for 13 years! Jejamma is a once-in-a-lifetime role for any actor, and she is incredibly fortunate. Kodi Rama Krishna garu, Shyam Prasad Reddy garu, and the entire crew are to be commended. Thank you so much to the wonderful audience for your support; this film will always hold a special place in my heart.”
The film, which featured KK Senthil Kumar’s cinematography and Koti’s soundtrack, received a staggering ten Nandi Awards from the Andhra Pradesh state government. Anushka Shetty received a Special Jury Award, while Sonu Sood was named Best Villain.
