Actor Navneet Malik looks uniquely stunning in his new look for the film The Bhootnii, written and directed by Sidhaant Sachdev, and produced by Deepak Mukut and Sanjay Dutt. After his loveable stint in the Star Plus show Deewaniyat, where he was seen in an effervescent lover boy role, this is a complete contrast in terms of look and style. The actor has also done a range of roles in projects Heropanti 2, Love Hostel etc.
After being paired with Tara Sutaria in Heropanti 2, Navneet is now paired with Mouni Roy in The Bhootnii. Talking about these two big opportunities, Navneet explains, “Working with Tara Sutaria in Heropanti was a fantastic experience. I was just starting, and both Tara and Tiger Shroff — who’s like a brother to me — were incredibly supportive. The atmosphere on set was a great mix of fun and professionalism, which really helped us all deliver our best. Now, being paired opposite Mouni Roy has been just as rewarding. She brings such warmth and grace to the set. She made sure everyone felt comfortable and equal from day one. That kind of mutual respect really helps in building effortless on-screen chemistry. In the film, I play Mouni’s love interest, and I think audiences will be pleasantly surprised by the dynamic we have created. Collaborating with someone as seasoned and generous as Mouni made the entire process smooth and fulfilling.”
Adding on, he elaborates on working with Mouni, “Mouni has such an impressive body of work, and since we had to portray a romantic relationship on screen, I wasn’t sure how comfortable the dynamic would be — especially with the kind of closeness those scenes often require. But right from our first interaction, all those doubts vanished. Mouni was incredibly warm, grounded, and easy to connect with. I remember chatting with her behind the scenes while she was giving feedback to the director, and the conversation just flowed. There was an instant sense of ease between us, which made working together feel very natural.”
