Admitting to having work done is one of the last big Hollywood taboos. Whether it’s simply a little Botox or a more serious cosmetic operation like breast implants or a facelift, celebrities have been going under the knife in utter denial for a long time. However, times are changing, and a few courageous celebs are speaking up about their positive and negative experiences with plastic surgery and cosmetic injectables.
Khloe Kardashian
During the KUWTK season finale reunion, Kardashian said, “Everyone says, ‘Oh my god, she’s had her third face transplant,’ but I’ve only had one nose job.” “And everyone becomes enraged as if to say, “Why don’t I talk about it?” No one has ever approached me with this question.” Khloe Kardashian also admits to having face fillers removed on her talk program Kocktails With Khloe. “I had to go get this whole thing dissolved because my face was so messed up,” she explained. “It was a letdown, and I’m now hesitant to do it again. And I swear things are still in my face, I swear.”
Tyra Banks
After publishing a book about natural beauty, Tyra Banks disclosed to People magazine in 2018 that she had bones in her nose that were forming and itching. “I could breathe normally,” she says, “but I opted to get cosmetic surgery.” I painted my nose and donned wigs. I feel it is my moral responsibility to convey the truth.”
Courteney Cox
“My implants have all been removed. I make an effort to appear as natural as possible. I’m happy now since I’m comfortable in my flesh.” Cox told The New Beautiful in June 2017. “I suppose I have reverted to my former self. I fervently hope so. Everything is going to change. Something is about to disintegrate. I was trying to keep it from falling, but it made me look phoney. You’ll need mobility in your cheeks if you have tough skin like mine. Those are not wrinkles, but rather smiling lines. I need to learn to embrace motion and realize that boosters aren’t my buddies.”
