Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan model who is best known for her work in Hindi films. She was the winner of the Miss Universe Sri Lanka pageant in 2006. She made her Bollywood debut with Aladin in 2009 and has since established a solid career in Hindi cinema. Fernandez was raised in Bahrain as part of a multi-ethnic Eurasian family that included Sri Lankan, Canadian, and Malaysian forebears.
