Awwal Number, helmed by Dev Anand, featured Aamir Khan and Aditya Pancholi. However, not many know the film also feature the Hollywood actress, Cindy Crawford as Dev Anand’s dead mother in the film.
In one of the scenes in the film, we can see Dev Anand sitting inside a lawn with a picture of Cindy framed just by his side. This is when Aditya approaches him to inform him that it’s his mother death anniversary, and Dev Anand corrects him saying, “Our mother’s death anniversary,” pointing at Cindy’s picture.
Talking about the ribbon tied on the frame, Dev says in Hindi, “Like every year, this year, too, I’ve placed her favourite blue ribbon on her picture. You remember she would tie the ribbon on her hair.” As quoted by ETimes.
