Nina Dobrev had sat down with Harper Baazar a while ago and opened up about her diet plan on their Food Diaries video. There were quite a few revelations in the video about her day-to-day eating habits as well as her favourite breakfasts and guilty pleasure!
The actress started off by talking about how she started her day cuddling with her furry companion, Maverick. And while she called her dog her morning coffee she also mentioned it’s not enough. She reveals that sometimes she drinks two mugs of coffee with some almond milk in the morning to get her day started.
She begins her breakfast with a protein shake. She adds unsweetened almond milk, banana, avocado, almond butter, spinach, arugula, and collagen.
On weekends or a relaxing day, she goes all out with her breakfast. She loves having eggs be it scrambled or a sunny side up. She also has gluten-free bread since she ‘doesn’t do well’ with gluten or dairy products. She also has apple sausages with her gluten-free bread and eggs. Her other favourite is pancakes.
After her breakfast, she does her workout and then off to work. She generally orders out for her lunches. They are usually salads.
She snacks throughout the day. She snacks on almonds or packages granola.
She tends to always cook her dinners. She loves to cook something new for the night. She also has night times snacks!
When she craves sweets she goes for smart treats that have low sugars. She has some wine when she wants to unwind.
