Throwback Thursday: John Abraham Was Offered The Character Of Robbie In K3G

Alongside Vivek Oberoi, John has participated in Karan Johar's talk program "Koffee With Karan."

Karan Johar, head of Dharma and director of “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham,” once contacted Bollywood actor John Abraham, who broke into the industry by walking the catwalk and filming music videos.

Few people are aware that Vikas Sethi, a television actor, ultimately took the part of college pal Robbie, who belonged to Kareena Kapoor’s character.

John and Vivek Oberoi have both made appearances on Karan Johar’s chat program, “Koffee With Karan.”

“John, I believed you’d be wonderful on the ramp and absolutely not on TV, so I told you to consider your alternatives and do other things when you came to me,” according to Karan.

When Karan remarked,” I have got a terrific position for you in K3G which I want to offer you, of Robbie,” John said, “I used to come to Karan for a lot of advice. Throughout the entire film, I kept asking myself, ‘Where is Robbie?,’ but I didn’t see him.”

KJo said, “Well done, and I’m sorry about that,” in an ashamed tone. “I truly didn’t think you’d get to this point.”

John made his Bollywood debut in 2003 with the movie “Jism,” and since then, he has participated in a number of significant films, including “Dhoom,” “Dostana,” “Madras Cafe,” “Shootout at Wadala,” and “Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran,” to mention just a few.

He is now enjoying the popularity of his most recent work, “Ek Villain Returns.” John, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani, and Tara Sutaria are among the ensemble cast in the movie “Ek Villain Returns.”
