The one-time couple Joey King and Jacob Elordi starred in Kissing Booth, as Elle Evans and Noah Flynn on Netflix, 2018. Their characters in the movie indulged in Romance while this spark continued in real life.
While in an interview with Seventeen, Joey King told that, “There wasn’t one moment.” and continued saying, “When we first met, me, he and Joel [Courtney] went out to dinner and we had the best, most fun night ever. By the end of dinner, we had like six inside jokes. We were so close and I was just best friends with Jacob throughout filming. So I guess there was no moment, but I feel like the friendship naturally was like, ‘Oh, hey, this person is super frickin’ awesome. We have so much in common and we love spending time together. Maybe there’s something more there.’ It was never like this moment of ‘OMG, I can’t let him see me like this.’ Do you know what I mean? We were open books with each other. There was nothing we wouldn’t talk about. He’s just so great. So after the first month, I was like, ‘Hmm, I think I like him.”
However, fans of the series The Kissing Booth were excited to discover the stars dating, but all came to an end when rumors surfaced that both had parted ways.
The actress King moved with producer Steven Piet, whom she used to work with on The Act.
In 2020, US Weekly confirmed that Elordi is dating his Euphoria co-star Zendaya, but they later broke up the same year. While Zendaya was dating her Spiderman co-star Tom Holland, the Kissing Booth star shifted with model Kaia Gerber. The couple united in 2020 and made their relationship public in New York City.
While as per the reports of an insider, “It’s crazy how much they have in common,” and also, “It was like the universe brought them together! They’re both models, for Calvin Klein — very into fashion, of course. They love going shopping together and even working out together. They’re truly some of the kindest people you will meet.”
