When it comes to Bollywood, it is commonly assumed that the majority of the actresses do not get along. We’ve all heard stories about actresses clashing on the set of a movie, giving each other the befitting reply, or verbally abusing one other in the past.
It isn’t a brand-new concept. Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit, Raveena Tandon, and Karisma Kapoor have all been involved in nasty petty fights in the past. It’s hardly surprising, though, because Bollywood is such a cutthroat market, and celebrities must be ruthless in order to survive. We’ll take you back to the time when Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone were feuding in today’s flashback tale.
When asked about her similarity to Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma stated, “There is no similarity between Deepika and me,” according to Cosmopolitan.in. “Nothing binds us together. We make a variety of films. In fact, she has appeared in a greater number of films. I’ve been picky in my choices. I’ve turned down almost every position that has come my way.” Anushka Sharma’s dig at Deepika Padukone sparked the cold war, which was followed by a slew of other incidents. There wererumorss last year that Anushka Sharma had cut her pay in order to acquire an advertisement that had previously been offered to Deepika Padukone. Anushka Sharma, on the other hand, clarified the situation, claiming that she already has enough sponsorships. “Today I command a premium,” Anushka Sharma added, according to Bollybytes. “I’ve worked hard for it. I also don’t need to reduce my prices.”
“I find it incredibly cheap to say I have X number of advertising,” she continued. “I don’t have to reduce my price. Period.” According to Cosmopolitan.in, Anushka Sharma hinted at an incident in which Deepika Padukone sought to drag her down in an interview. “A friend of Deepika’s contacted up to say that she is shooting Yeh Jawaani Hai Diwani instead of Anushka,” she explained. “My ‘friends’ don’t bother to contact me, do they? Kashyap and Hirani have chosen me. She is Ayan’s and whosoever’s choice. I never try to pull anyone down. That makes me nice, right?”
After the two poked fun at each other, Deepika Padukone admitted in a chat that she is a massive admirer of Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma on a professional and personal level. She said that you may have feelings for other people, but they may not feel the same way about you, which is fine.
