Scarlett Johansson and Arjun Rampal were both on the verge of becoming superheroes in 2010. Scarlett was about to make her Iron Man 2 debut as Black Widow, while Arjun was due to act in Shah Rukh Khan’s Ra.One. The two actors met in France during a champagne harvest, where they picked grapes, drank champagne, and were captivated by Scarlett’s beauty in Arjun’s case.
In a video broadcast by NDTV at the time, Arjun Rampal and Scarlett Johansson were seen working in the vineyard. When asked if he’d harvested more grapes than Scarlett, Arjun laughed and answered, “Scarlett’s a pro. She’ll be remunerated for it.”
He confesses to being overwhelmed by her in an interview with a major newspaper. “We got along like a house on fire,” says the narrator. “She’s sexually overwhelming,” he added. “She’s humble, real, and grounded, and her sense of humor… she cracked me up a lot! And it’s difficult to be particularly clever in the presence of a sexually dominating, beautiful young woman who is wittier than you.”
Arjun Rampal is currently in Budapest shooting for his upcoming movie, Dhaakad, which is also a key site in Natasha Romanoff’s Marvel movie. Scarlett Johansson, who will reprise her role as Black Widow in Marvel’s next solo film, recently announced that the film will delve into the character’s past, specifically what unfolded in Budapest. “You finally get to know what happens in Budapest,” she told Jimmy Fallon.
