While the Twilight saga has been one of the most popular series all across the movie buffs, Robert Pattinson however received immense backlash and negative comments for his role. It’s been reported that Robert finds it strange that the people like the franchise have stated his role as an ax murderer.
However, it’s not just Robert Pattinson who didn’t like the franchise, but also his mother did send him negative comments; this was revealed by the director Catherine Hardwicke. The star filmmaker spoken about the same in an interview.
The filmmaker said, “Rob came up to me one day, and he goes, ‘Catherine, look at all these mean things that people are saying online. I’m hideous…’” the Twilight director said. “And I’m like, ‘Oh my god, Rob, you can’t read all this. You just gotta focus. I swear to god, we have a plan,” Catherine replied to Robert Pattinson. “You’re going to be amazing looking, and everyone’s going to love you.’ And I said, ‘Just do not read these things,’” As quoted by Koi Moi.
She added, “And he goes, ‘But my mom sent it to me,’”. However, with all the odds considered in the row, it’s to admit that Twilight series helped Robert Pattinson earn immense love with his work all over the globe, and nonetheless he became one of the most renowned actors in the country.
