Twinkle Khanna, who’s been known as Mrs Funnybones took to her Instagram handle to share her childhood story with her fans. The actress is an avid social media user, and her regular posts on social media often leave us enticed.

And now with Children’s Day, the actress has exclusively shared her own childhood story with her fans, and we couldn’t stop reading in between the lines.

Sharing the video, Twinkle Khanna narrated her story with a long note ahead. She wrote, “An apocryphal tale around my childhood states that as a tiny toy in what was then called Cadbury Academy, I followed a balloon man out of the gate of the nursery. I was spotted on Linking Road, still following the balloon man, by my aunt’s hairdresser, Lucy and brought back home. It seems slightly unbelievable. How could I walk so much? What are the chances of Lucy seeing me on the street? But memory is a strange thing. Because I have heard this so many times, regardless of what really happened, I can see myself outside a particular shop on Linking Road. I have an image in my head of walking on that particular pavement and yes, I can see a wiry balloon man striding ahead of me. I hope the day I got these balloons for my daighter’s birthday, no one followed me:) Have you noticed that the memories around our childhood are always crisp and filled with color compared to the ones we have as adults?”

Indian gentleman with “blinding white teeth” (family’s description, but I suppose I too must’ve been mesmerised by his teeth) near a Mother Diary (a totally Delhi thing) All the recollections of this story are so certain, that I too feel I can Almost reach out & touch this gentleman, his auto & the fruit baskets he was loading on it. Memory is such a strangely powerful thing!”

Another commented, “Hehe….i love balloons I remember feeling excited when i sae sugar candy being made in the machine at Juhu beach as a child. I just stood there watching. I didn’t want to eat it though as it made my hands sticky. I did the same thing 2 months ago and my mum had to pull me away!”
