Varun Dhawan, prior to becoming the most popular and hottest actor in the country, worked as an assistant director in several films. And with that, the actor once played the body double of Jimmy Sheirgill, for the film My Name Is Khan, where he also worked as an AD.
A popular Bollywood page on Instagram, shared a poster of the movie and wrote, “Did you know Varun Dhawan was also a part of ‘My Name Is Khan’? We noticed that he was a stand-in for Jimmy Sheirgill playing a young Zakir Khan in a scene. He was also an AD on the film.” as quoted by Koi Moi.
As soon as the post rolled out on Instagram, fans went absolutely berserk, for they didn’t notice it before. While one wrote, “Omg, never noticed.”, the other praised the author who shared the post for having eagle’s eyes.
