Sara Ali Khan is the ruling lady of Bollywood of late. The actress has been winning hearts with her humble gestures towards fans whenever she gets caught on camera and also is known for letting out her opinions.
Last year, when Sara was invited to Kareen Kapoor Khan’s show, What women want, the actress was seen speaking on how relationships have now changed than they were earlier, and how women have become more significant of their desires.
In the conversation, when she was asked by KKK about her take on ‘modern-day relationships’, she said, “I think that you know, especially since I’m doing ‘Love Aaj Kal’, whether it’s my character ‘Zoe’ in the film or whether it’s me, I think that one thing that I see, is very different is that women are more vocal of their needs in relationships today than they were back then, you know? Uss zamane mein ek tarah se, you know, there was a shyness, a coyness, kind of quiet demeanour to women, which was perceived as the correct way to be..” She went on to say that it’s because of the ‘financial independence’, ’emotional independence’, or how they have become more confident in their own skin, that women have become so much more vocal about what they want from their partners.
