Between takes, the three Spider-Men had a lot of fun. Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire — whose diverse incarnations of Spider-Man meet in the popular film — share laughter and tender moments behind the scenes in two new Spider-Man: No Way Home blooper reel snippets shared exclusively with People.
While they are both dressed as Spider-Man, Garfield, 38, creeps up behind Maguire, 46, and offers him a friendly embrace. Maguire busts out laughing, leading Garfield to laugh as well. Garfield takes some dramatic breathing for a climactic moment while Maguire looks on in another scene between the two co-stars. “It’s odd gazing at you for that long!” Maguire laughs after a few quiet seconds.
Making the sequel, Holland, 25, and co-star Zendaya had some clumsy and unforgettable moments. Holland loses his footing when attempting to land during a scene in which he is carrying her character, joking to Zendaya, “Save me, M.J.” Throughout the joke reel, the two chuckle, with Holland stating to the camera team at one point, “You’ve been rolling this whole time?”
During the second part of No Way Home, Maguire and Garfield reprise their roles as Peter Parker/Spider-Man from their respective prior film renditions, in a scenario involving various worlds colliding on current star Holland’s reality.
