In 2019, Hiddleston and actress Ashton co-starred in London’s West End production of Betrayal, which then went to Broadway in New York. The couple has apparently been living together since the summer of 2020, but their relationship has remained private. But soon, the 37-year-old Ashton will join the 40-year-old Hiddleston in the Marvel Cinematic Universe: she has been cast as the major villain in The Marvels, the upcoming Captain Marvel sequel.
Hiddleston and Ashton (proposed couple name: “Hiddleshton”) made their love red carpet official at the 2021 Tony Awards in September 2021, after keeping their courtship under wraps for a few years. Not only did they pose for photos on the red carpet with Betrayal co-star Charlie Cox, but they also snapped a photo side by side inside the Winter Garden Theatre on Broadway, where the ceremony was held.
