There has been a buzz that Mahesh Babu is all set to star in the mythological film Ramayana starring alongside Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan. His fans were all excited to see him along with their favourite Bollywood stars.
However, reports are suggesting that the south superstar has rejected the film for his prior commitments to the Baahubali director.
A source close to Mahesh Babu revealed to Pink Villa that the actor has rejected Ramayana because he has committed a film to S.S Rajamouli. The source said, “Mahesh was committed to doing a film with SS Rajamouli, and hence, he decided to stay away from Ramayana. The things were in the advanced stage, but eventually, it’s Rajamouli who got the priority from Mahesh. And why not,” as quoted by Siasat.
