Why Ravi Kishan’s Father Didn’t Want Him To Have An Acting Career? Take A Look At It

Did you know popular actor Ravi Kishan’s father did not like his career in acting led to a lot of scolding and beating up.

Ravindra Shyamnarayan Shukla, popularly known by his stage name Ravi Kishan is an Indian actor and also a politician. He has been seen majorly in Bhojpuri as well as Hindi films and also has been a part of a few Kannada and Tamil movies. Ravi has also been a part of Big Boss in 2006.

The actor joined the Indian National Congress (INC) in 2014.

In an interview, Ravi Kishan revealed that he was a naughty boy in his school days and used to bunk lectures but that definitely taught him a lesson and the actor is now the first person to reach on sets and office.

Ravi has worked in many Bollywood movies like Tere Naam, Phir Hera Pheri, Marjaavaan and many more. He always had the desire to become an actor and once revealed that he is a huge fan of Amitabh Bachchan. His father wanted him to own a business and since the actor refused it, he would be beaten up. His father didn’t like him being a part of the film industry and his passion for acting, and so he has been scolded and beaten by his father.

In an interview, Ravi revealed that when his father was against his acting career, he left his house and came to Mumbai with just Rs. 500. His mother was always supportive in his career and helped financially too. After a lot of struggle, the actor finally got work in the movie ‘Pitambar’ where he was offered Rs. 5000 for his role, but still struggled a lot and did many small roles. Reality shows like Big Boss and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa earned Ravi a lot of fame and recognition.
