I wish my Bollywood debut could get a theatrical release – Pranitha Subhash

Check out what Pranitha Subhash has to say on her Bollywood debut

Pranitha Subhash is one of the most popular and talented divas of the South regional film industry. She has been a part of some cult blockbusters in Kannada regional cinema and soon, she’s all set to send shockwaves in B-Town with her work in two big movies like Bhuj: The Pride Of India & Hungama 2.

While Bhuj: The Pride Of India stars superstar Ajay Devgn with her in the lead role, Hungama 2 is the sequel of the famous comedy movie Hungama and the movie stars Paresh Rawal and Shilpa Shetty in lead roles alongside her. Earlier, we have seen many actresses make a successful transition from South to B-Town and Pranitha is the latest addition. However, due to Covid-19 pandemic, two of her releases are directly streaming on OTT and not having a theatrical release.

During an exclusive conversation on ‘The Bollywood Talk Show’ on IWMBuzz, when Pranitha was asked about the same, she said and we quote,

“Yes I am extremely happy to have been blessed with the opportunity to work with some brilliant actors in two of my initial Hindi movies. However, like anyone else, I would have been happier had my movie got a theatrical release. I have seen the craze of people for South movies. Films release even at 1AM and 4AM and the love they show is unconditional. I have seen all that happening and hence I wanted that to happen in my Bollywood releases as well. So yes I am glad about the opportunity I have been blessed with but I wish my Bollywood debut happened with a theatrical release first and then OTT.” Check out the video of the conversation below –

Pranitha also informed her fans today that she has tied the knot and is married. We congratulate her and wish her well for a lovely wedding life ahead. For more updates, stay tuned to IWMBuzz.com
