Everyone is waiting for the next instalment in Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe, Singham Again, which is slated for a Diwali 2024 release. Following films like Singham, Singham Returns, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi, this new chapter is being hailed as the “Avengers of the Cop Universe.” It is no secret how the film boasts of a dream ensemble including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff.

With the theatrical trailer expected to drop within the next few days, there was a report that Rohit Shetty and Jio Studios have sealed a significant non-theatrical deal for Singham Again. Now, the same report suggested that the combined sale of the satellite, digital, and music rights for the film has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark. This marks the largest non-theatrical deal for both Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty.

A source close to the project also mentioned that Rohit Shetty’s films have always attracted substantial satellite deals due to high audience demand. However, this time around, digital platforms have also paid a premium, recognizing the massive ensemble cast and the film’s anticipated appeal. The insider also noted that the Singham Again team is confident in the film’s repeat viewing potential across platforms, citing the successful track record of Shetty and Devgn’s collaborations, as well as the popularity of the Cop Universe (Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi).

Singham Again is set to release in theaters on November 1, 2024 where it clashes alongside another biggie, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
