Alia Bhatt, in a recent interview, revealed how her co-star Jr. NTR snapped her performance in the film RRR. The actress is currently gearing up for her upcoming film Jigra and actively promoting her next project. During an interview with Karan Johar, she revealed some unknown insights into her shooting experience with Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, under S S Rajamouli’s direction.

In an interview with Karan Johar in the Devara Ka Jigra crossover, Alia revealed her lessons, experience, and much more she learned working with Jr. NTR. When Karan asked Alia about her experience performing with Taarak (Jr. NTR), the actress said, “Even before I signed on to do RRR, when the announcement of RRR came, it was just the image of Rajamouli Sir, Taarak and Ram Charan together. I think that was like there was anticipation in general. And, of course, as how you rightfully mentioned, I had heard so much about the way Taarak is in stardom, so I was naturally expecting to be severely intimidated. I was like, Okay, I’m gonna walk on set and gonna forget all my lines that I have been rehearsing for one year.”

Further, Alia revealed, “We started my first day of shoot was that big scene where we meet for the first time, and our characters don’t know who each other are, and it was. So it was quite like a big scene to start with. It was pretty intense but contradictory to what I had imagined. He was not intimidating at all. In fact, he was very helpful and very quiet, and I was so shocked at how quiet that set was.”

Lastly, Alia said, “I was very nervous, but Taarak made me comfortable, and whenever I was a little bit fumbling or not sure, he would naturally correct, and of course and when Aayan says his speedy gonzales means like the energy is buzzing, but what I love about him as an actor he is so unpredictable I mean even though I couldn’t understand the language but when I see it in his eyes what he is saying it’s all happening from here (eyes). And like Rajamouli sir would give him a beat or given him some direction or something so he would be like yah yah! So then you can see it’s bursting out of him to give what the director has asked for. So I was like always like my close-ups and his close-ups so I was only observing him like what was gonna come after that because it was such a big learning experience for me as well.”
