Sivakarthikeyan has yet again pushed himself out of his comfort zone to don the role of the brave and gutsy martyr Major Mukund Varadarajan in the upcoming film Amaran. It will be a Diwali release, on 31 October for this Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi biographical action war film. Amaran has been bankrolled by Kamal Haasan, R. Mahendran, and Sony Pictures International Productions, directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, and is a multi-lingual film which will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages.
