Alia Bhatt’s recent action film Jigra, which hit theaters on October 11, has struggled to make a significant impact at the box office. Despite a modest opening, the film has not picked up momentum. In light of this, Alia took to Instagram to share some behind-the-scenes moments from the set.
She posted images and videos, captioning them, “A journey full of Jigra.” In the first photo, she is seen smiling warmly in a white and blue outfit, followed by a glimpse of her character in the film. The videos she shared included moments of her hugging director Vasan Bala and clips of her makeup process for an action sequence. She also included footage from her basketball practice for the film.

Vasan Bala quickly responded to Alia’s post with heart emojis. The filmmaker has recently addressed the film’s underperformance, taking responsibility and praising Alia for her dedication to the project. Bala noted that she remains one of the most in-demand actors in the industry and commended her efforts for Jigra.
Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar co-produced Jigra, Which features Vedang Raina in a prominent role. As of now, the film has reportedly grossed Rs 27.8 crore in its first ten days. The film has also been subject to controversies surrounding plagiarism but none of them have been proven it.
